Grand Valley's Children's Enrichment Center will co-sponsor a
"Twilight Gathering" aimed at raising awareness and funds
for a nonprofit organization, Women's Caring Program, which helps
support working families with early childhood education costs.
The event is set for Tuesday, July 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in
the Frey Foundation courtyard at the DeVos Center on the Pew Grand
Rapids Campus. Tickets for the event are $35 and can be purchased
online at www.womenscaringprogram.org,
click on "Grand Rapids Twilight Gathering" under Upcoming Events.
The Women's Caring Program was established 30 years ago to help
children of the working poor with financial support for quality child
care during the formative early education years.
Sharalle Arnold, director of the Children’s Enrichment Center,
said six Twilight Gatherings will be held throughout Michigan and she
is pleased to help host the Grand Valley event. "It's going to be
a great night out to support a great cause," Arnold said.
"Please join us in this 32-year tradition of women and men
lending a supporting hand to families in need."
