Ed Cox, son-in-law of President Nixon, shared his first-hand experiences of what the White House was like during the Nixon years, at a May 16 event sponsored by the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies.
Cox, who spoke at the Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, campaigned extensively for the re-election of his father-in-law. He then traveled to Europe and the Soviet Union, meeting privately with leaders and their families.
Cox talked about Nixon's decisions about China, Israel and Vietnam.
