Graduate students conduct innovative research

Graduate students at Grand Valley State University will display their original and significant research at the 2011 Graduate Showcase March 28 and 31.

Outstanding graduate students and their faculty mentors will display and present their research on topics like trends in local health care costs, how faith-based organizations can help former prisoners, and the quality of life for bobcats in Michigan, to name a few. Anyone interested in graduate education at Grand Valley should attend the event to learn more about the innovative and high quality programs.

The 2011 Graduate Showcase schedule is as follows:

March 28

Presenting disciplines include: accounting, business administration, communication, criminal justice, education, English, health administration, public administration, social work, taxation

March 31
4:30–7:30 p.m.
Hager Auditorium
Cook-Devos Center for Health Sciences, 301 Michigan N.E.
Presenting disciplines include: biology, biomedical sciences, biostatistics, cell and molecular biology, computer information systems, engineering, medical and bioinformatics, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, professional science master’s
