Don Zinman, assistant professor of political science, traveled to
Washington, D.C., to accept the Public University System of the Year
Award, presented to Grand Valley by the Washington Center for
Internships and Academic Seminars.
Grand Valley sends about a dozen students each year to partake
in the Washington Center’s internships and academic seminars.
Participation is open to students of all majors. The Washington Center
is an excellent opportunity for students interested in careers in
public policy, government and politics.
