Grand Valley State University won its eighth consecutive U.S.
Sports Academy NACDA Directors’ Cup in Division II. Known as the
all-sports trophy, the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup trophy is
presented to the top athletic department in the country.
The award is presented annually by the National Association of
Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
Grand Valley scored 1,057.50 points, outdistancing second-place
Central Missouri (779.75) by 277.75 points. The scoring system is
based on the national finishes of seven men’s and seven women’s sports.
