GVSU named a 'Best In The Midwest' college

Grand Valley State University has once again been named one of the best universities in the Midwest, according to The Princeton Review. Grand Valley was selected as one of 153 institutions in the “Best in the Midwest” section of its website feature 2012 Best Colleges: Region by Region.

The Princeton Review said colleges and universities are selected primarily for their excellent academic programs. The list is based on data collected from each school and visits to each school. Students are also given an 80-question survey asking about their campus experiences.

The Princeton Review survey for this project asks students to rate their own schools on several issues — from the accessibility of their professors, to quality of the campus food — and answer questions about themselves, their fellow students, and their campus life.  

Grand Valley State University attracts more than 24,500 students with high-quality programs and state-of-the-art facilities.
