Hot export markets discussed during World Trade Week

The new, hot export markets include China, the Middle East and Brazil, according to John Mooney, global vice president of finance for Haworth. Mooney will share insights into these export markets during the 26th annual World Trade Week West Michigan Business Conference.

The conference, sponsored by the Van Andel Global Trade Center at Grand Valley State University, will offer practical advice on business development, export financing, and how to compete globally.

“World Trade Week is a great way for businesses to share ideas on the best way to approach markets around the world,” said Sonja Johnson, executive director of the Van Andel Global Trade Center and chair of World Trade Week West Michigan. “The half-day business conference allows companies to ask questions in a one-on-one format, gathering essential details of the global markets they are interested in developing. Companies get connected and stay up to date on what is happening around the world.”
