Laker athletics reveals new web look

Grand Valley unveiled a new look for its athletic website June 21. GVSULakers.com received a complete overhaul, with several new features introduced.

"We felt it was time for the website to get a new fresh look that afforded our viewers a number of opportunities to follow Grand Valley State athletics," said Doug Lipinski, associate athletic director for marketing. "We had more than 4 million total pages views the last 11 months and it was time to incorporate a number of upgrades for viewers."

Following are a few features of GVSULakers.com:

• Increased video content for all sports;

• Slider in the middle of the front page featuring different aspects of Laker athletics;

• Sticky Bar on the top of every page that features all of the tools available;

• Fan Zone that allows viewers various multimedia and social media opportunities;
