Associate professor Richard Stoelzel, trumpet, and Solee Clark,
will perform Thursday, January 27, 6-7 p.m., in Cook-DeWitt Center, on
the GVSU Allendale Campus. They will feature music for trumpet and
organ from the Baroque period to contemporary works. The duo will also
present the full program at Hope College on January 30, at 2 p.m.
Stoelzel began his career as solo cornet with the U.S. Coast
Guard Band. A Yamaha International Performing Artist, he maintains an
active career as an international soloist, chamber and orchestral
musician. Solee Lee-Clark is music director at First Congregational
Church in Muskegon.
