PAS students sponsor 5k run/walk

A group of physician assistant studies students are sponsoring a 5k run/walk to raise money for Oasis of Hope, a Grand Rapids clinic that provides care and education for people who don’t have health insurance.

Running for Hope is set for Saturday, October 8, beginning at 11 a.m. on the Allendale Campus, starting near the Cook Carillon Tower.

Awards will be given to the top male and female runners. Registration will run from 9:30-10:45 a.m. on race day. The 5k walk is a noncompetitive event.
