Senate is hosting the 25th annual Presidents’ Ball on Friday,
February 4, 2011. In celebration of Grand Valley’s 50th Anniversary,
“The Golden Gala” will highlight Grand Valley’s accomplishments over
the last fifty years.
The event will be held at the DeVos Place in downtown Grand
Rapids, 303 Monroe Avenue NW. The dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. with
the dance from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Limited tickets will be
available for pre-sale only at the 20/20 Desk in Kirkhof Center. The
price for the dinner and dance is $30 and the price for the dance is
$10. Busses will run throughout the night with stops at Kirkhof
Center, Mackinac and DeVos Place.
A new addition this year is the “The 1960 Room,” in the River
Overlook of DeVos Place. Geared toward faculty and staff members, the
room will feature a jazz band and seating for conversations.
Tickets will not be sold at the door. Attendees cannot enter the
event without tickets and must have a photo ID.
