Students from Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virgina
and Ontario will attend a professional mechanical engineering
conference and competition at Grand Valley from March 25-27. The
competitions are free and open to the public.
This is the second time Grand Valley is hosting the American
Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
2011 Student Professional Development Conference. The conference
will feature competitions in oral presentation, student design,
technical poster, web design and impromptu design. The outcomes will
determine what teams will advance to the international competition in
Denver, Colorado, in November. ASME has more than 120,000 members in
150 countries.
