The Sustainable Community Development Initiative will host two
seminars during the winter semester that will explore the meaning of
sustainable living. The seminars are open to faculty and staff.
“Choices for Sustainable Living” will examine the ties between
lifestyle choices and their impact on the environment. The seminar
will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. in room 2259 of the
Kirkhof Center from January 18-February 29.
“Menu for the Future” will explore the connection between food
and sustainability; topics of discussion will include food systems and
their impact on culture and agriculture practices. The seminar will be
held weekly on Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. in room 2259 of the Kirkhof
Center from March 14-April 18.
Each seminar costs $10, which covers a portion of the cost of
the book.
