SCDI hosts sustainable lifestyle seminars

The Sustainable Community Development Initiative will host two seminars during the winter semester that will explore the meaning of sustainable living. The seminars are open to faculty and staff.

“Choices for Sustainable Living” will examine the ties between lifestyle choices and their impact on the environment. The seminar will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. in room 2259 of the Kirkhof Center from January 18-February 29.

“Menu for the Future” will explore the connection between food and sustainability; topics of discussion will include food systems and their impact on culture and agriculture practices. The seminar will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. in room 2259 of the Kirkhof Center from March 14-April 18.

Each seminar costs $10, which covers a portion of the cost of the book.
