Students inducted into honor society

Ten students were inducted into Pi Delta Phi, the national French honor society, during a ceremony April 22 in the DeVos Center.

Isabelle Cata, professor in the Modern Languages and Literatures department, said student criteria for joining Pi Delta Phi include class standing, majoring or minoring in French and a GPA of at least 3.0.

Severine Ward, French professor, was inducted as an honorary member. Student inductees are Brianna Bowerman, Andrew Brown, Maeve Burns, Nicole Daihl, Deanna Hernandez, Anne Leightner, Nick Norris, Bradie Sheehan, Kristin Stone and Leah Tremble.
