Students moving out of any dorm or on-campus apartment in Allendale
or Grand Rapids can donate unwanted items that will be given to area
non-profits. The seventh annual campus-wide Project Donation will run
Wednesday, April 27, through Monday, May 2.
Collection boxes will be placed in each housing great room and
on-campus apartment community center on the Allendale and Pew Grand
Rapids Campuses. Students can donate non-perishable food, clothing,
small appliances, household items and furniture.
Items collected in Allendale will be donated to Grand Valley’s
Student Pantry and West Michigan non-profit organizations
Adopt-a-Block and Love INC. Donations collected on the Pew Campus will
be given to the First Community AME Church of Grand Rapids.
The program is coordinated by Housing and Facilities Services.
