The Sustainable Community Development Initiative is surveying
students to learn about their awareness and understanding of
sustainability at Grand Valley.
The feedback will help the SCDI team understand what issues
students are passionate about and allow the team to plan future
sustainability initiatives on campus.
The survey will also allow SCDI to compare results from a
similar survey that was implemented in 2009. “We found with the last
survey students who have been at Grand Valley for one or more years
have an increased interest in sustainable initiatives,” said Bart
Bartels, project manager for SCDI. “So we’ll be able to measure
progress against the original baseline from 2009.”
Students will receive a link to the survey in an email this
week.
