Grand Valley's Athletics Department will open the gates of Lubbers
Stadium on Thursday, November 17, allowing Laker fans to take a piece
of the field with them.
The stadium will open from 4-7 p.m., when Summit Landscape will
remove the natural turf and make the grass field available for Laker
fans and the general public. There is no charge to participate. Laker
fans also can remove a smaller piece of the field during those hours.
Participants should bring their own shovel, tarp, plastic bags
and other necessary supplies. Parking will be available in Lot A, next
to the football stadium.
