To celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, the Women’s Center
will host a series of speakers noted for their activism for gender justice.
Gail Griffin kicks off the series with a presentation on
Thursday, October 6, at 6 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center, room 2250.
Griffin is a professor of English at Kalamazoo College and
author of The Events of October: Murder-Suicide on a Small
Campus. The book details the aftermath when, in 1999, a student
shot his girlfriend then himself.
More information is online at www.gvsu.edu/women_cen. The
lecture is free and open to the public.
