A writing workshop for student veterans is forming, with support from the Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center and Student Services.
Joel Wendland, visiting assistant professor of liberal studies, said he hopes faculty members announce the group to their classes. Wendland and Patrick Johnson, assistant director of the Writing Center, will lead sessions of the workshop designed to assist student veterans with class assignments, professional writing, cover letters, personal statements and more.
Workshop sessions will be scheduled for mid-November through early December. Student veterans interested in joining the workshop should contact Wendland at [email protected] or x18192.
