Ad pro to speak on non-profit branding

A local advertising veteran is next up in “SOC HOPP,” the School of Communications, Hear Other Professors and Professionals, which provides interaction among students, faculty and the community on common communication subjects.

Bill McKendry, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Hanon-McKendry Integrated Brand Connections, will give a speech titled “Do More Good,” which is also the title of his new book. The event is Tuesday, January 31, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Grand Valley’s Loosemore Auditorium, DeVos Center, 401 W. Fulton, on the Pew Grand Rapids campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Hanon-McKendry is the largest multi-platform branding company in Michigan outside of Detroit. McKendry will focus his speech on non-profit branding and how to cultivate, build, and position a brand, while crafting a message that is compelling and motivating for the non-profit sector.
