Laker baseball team members will give a presentation for the campus community on their humanitarian trip to Cuba.

The event is set for Tuesday, February 21, beginning at noon in the Kirkhof Center, room 2204. The Grand Valley contingent traveled to Cuba in early January to play three baseball games against the Cuban national team. With help from First Hand Aid, team members also delivered medical supplies to Cuban clinics and other organizations.

Speakers for the event include President Thomas J. Haas, coaches Steve Lyon and Gordon Alderink, and Steve Cron, who teaches courses in Cuban culture. The presentation is free and open to the public.
