Grand Valley’s Sociology Department and Meijer Holland Campus are sponsoring a play, “Marx in Soho,” at the Holland Park Theater, March 14-15.
Joe Verschaeve, affiliate professor of sociology, said the play, by Howard Zinn, is an excellent introduction to Marx’s life and his passion for radical change. Zinn uses current news and events to illustrate Marx’s ideas.
There is no charge for Grand Valley students, faculty and staff members; tickets for the general public are $10 ($5 with student ID other than GVSU). The play will begin at 7 p.m. both nights, doors open at 6.
