Campus Dining collects holiday cards for veterans, service members

Campus Dining at Grand Valley is partnering with the American Red Cross in an initiative to sign and collect holiday cards for members of the military, veterans and their families.

Grand Valley students, faculty and staff members can sign holiday cards through Friday, November 16, at the following locations and times on the Allendale Campus:

Wednesday, November 14
River Landing: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Kleiner: 6-8 p.m.

Thursday, November 15
Fresh Food Company: 6-8 p.m.
 
Friday, November 16
Fresh Food Company: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Fuel: noon-2 p.m.
 
“Holiday Mail for Heroes” is an initiative to collect holiday cards that are sent to men and women at military installations, veterans hospitals and other locations. All cards should be signed, be addressed with generic salutations, and contain no inserts or sender contact information.
