Farmers Market opens June 6
A six-piece band, a cooking demonstration and giveaways will be
featured at Grand Valley’s first Farmers Market of the year on
Wednesday, June 6.
The sixth annual Farmers Market will continue each Wednesday
through September 26. The market will be in parking lot F of the
Allendale Campus and will run from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; the market will
not be open July 4 and August 29.
Other activities on June 6 include the annual Farmers Market
Walk at 10:30 a.m. in parking lot F, and lunch will be provided by
Campus Dining at 11 a.m. The Kent County Health Department will
provide a free cooking class at noon.
