The social media team behind Laker football will head out on a road
trip Thursday, September 27, digitally documenting their way to
Houghton on Saturday, when the Lakers will play the Michigan Tech Huskies.
The #GOGVSU Road Trip is presented by American RV. Athletics
staff members will ride in an RV while communicating with fans through
Grand Valley’s official athletic media outlets.
“We are excited to showcase our football program and Grand
Valley to northern Michigan and interact with our fans along the way,
said Doug Lipinski, associate director of athletics for marketing. “We
will feature a ‘things to do’ on the way and will also talk with
alumni that live on our route to Houghton.”
