Laker football fans can watch the 2012 season opener live on WGVU
HD at 4 p.m. EDT on Saturday, September 1.
Grand Valley will visit Western Oregon University in Monmouth,
Oregon, to take on the Wolves. Last year, the Lakers beat the Wolves,
44-20, in Allendale. Grand Valley begins the season ranked in the top
10 nationally in Division II polls and was selected as the favorite in
the GLIAC North Division by the coaches in a preseason poll.
