General Education director opens Her Story series

The annual Her Story series will open September 19 with a presentation by Carol Griffin, director of General Education and professor of biology.

Griffin’s talk will take place at noon in room 2270 of the Kirkhof Center. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunches.

The series provides an opportunity for the campus community to hear from women in leadership positions at Grand Valley. It is co-sponsored by the Women’s Center and Women’s Commission.

The next talk will take place November 27 and will feature Nancy Giardina, assistant vice president for Academic Affairs.
