Grand Rapids Symphony opens Arts at Noon Series

The Grand Rapids Symphony, recognized as America’s finest regional orchestra, kicks off the new semester of the Arts at Noon Series of free concerts at Grand Valley.

This concert, on Wednesday, January 11 at noon, will be at the Louis Armstrong Theatre located in the Performing Arts Center to accommodate a larger audience.

Led by associate conductor and Grand Valley faculty member John Varineau, the symphony will perform works by Dvorak, Haydn, Brahms, music from Star Wars and more during the one-hour concert.

Future concerts, which will be at noon in the Cook-DeWitt Center, include:
January 25 - Grand Valley Winds
February 1 - The Perugino String Quartet
February 15 - Andreas Klein, pianist
February 22 - Coalescence Percussion Duo
March14 - Amore Musicae Trio
March 28 - Athenia Chamber Ensemble
