Grand Valley hosts lacrosse camp

More than 200 female students from area middle and high schools are
attending a lacrosse camp on the Allendale Campus.
Coaches from the Grand Valley Women’s lacrosse team are serving
as instructors, helping campers with stick skills, offensive and
defensive strategy, and full-field games. The four-day camp ends June
28.
Grand Valley’s women’s lacrosse team began its first-ever
season in March of 2012. Grand Valley Athletics announced the
addition of women’s lacrosse as the school’s 20th varsity sport in 2009.
