On October 11, a Grand Valley staff member will give a presentation
at TEDxMuskegon and the Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy
Center will host a live stream party of the event.
Norman Christopher, director of Grand Valley’s Sustainable
Community Development Initiative, will give a presentation, “Gusty
Blowing Winds - The Growing Opportunity For Social Entrepreneurship,”
at the energy-themed event.
MAREC will host a
live stream event of TEDxMuskegon presenters from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
at the MAREC facility in Muskegon. It is free and open to the public.
TEDxMuskegon, which will take place at Beardsley Theatre in the
Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Muskegon, will
have four sessions: Energize Your Earth, Energize Your State, Energize
Your Community and Energize Youself.
