Grand Valley State University students will have the opportunity to connect with local leaders at an event hosted by the university’s Student Senate.

State Sen. Arlan Meekhof, State Rep. Dave Agema and U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga’s district coordinator Greg VanWoerkom will be at the political forum to answer students’ questions.

“With all of the big decisions being made at the local and state level, students need to be well-informed,” said Trevor TenBrink, vice president of political affairs for Student Senate. “This is a chance for students to ask questions to the people who represent the Grand Valley community.”
