Haas visits Ghana

President Thomas J. Haas recently visited Ghana to celebrate the
50th anniversary jubilee at the University of Cape Coast, one of Grand
Valley's international partners.
University of Cape Coast and Grand Valley also celebrated a
10-year exchange partnership. UCC Vice Chancellor Naana Jane
Opoku-Agyemang visited Grand Valley at its 50th anniversary
celebration in 2010.
During the visit, Haas read a proclamation September 28 before
an audience of 1,100 graduates and their family members. He also met
the Honorable Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, vice president of Ghana,
who was the commencement speaker.
