Month of Young Child features workshops, art show

The Children’s Enrichment Center has a variety of events planned throughout April to celebrate the Month of the Young Child.

A bullying workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 4, from noon-1 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center, room 2270.

A workshop for students and faculty and staff members who are dads will take place on Thursday, April 12, from noon-1 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center, room 2264.

The annual children’s art show and reception will take place on Wednesday, April 18, from noon-1 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center, room 2263.

The center will host an event, “Walking the Talk,” to raise awareness about students who are parents on Thursday, April 19, from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. on the Allendale Campus. Sharalle Arnold, director of CEC, will walk on campus for 11 hours to raise awareness about the importance of having quality childcare for student parents.
