Grand Valley has teamed up with Leadership IQ to offer 40 online,
on-demand e-learning training courses, covering the most critical
leadership skills. Some of the courses have a business focus, yet the
leadership concepts easily apply to a higher education environment.
“The online courses will supplement the other leadership and
professional development opportunities offered on campus,” said Maggie
McCrystal, director of staff relations. “In addition to the excellence
series, this will help those who find it hard to get away from the
office. The courses can be done at your desk or at home and are
available at any time, day or night. All you need is an Internet connection.”
Each 60-minute program gives leaders instant access to answer
the most pressing leadership challenges. McCrystal said the courses
are valuable for proven leaders and for faculty and staff in their
career-building years.
