Padnos named GVSU board chair

Shelley E. Padnos was elected chair of the Grand Valley State University Board of Trustees at the board’s July 13 meeting; Noreen K. Myers served as chair for the past year. Michael D. Thomas was elected vice chair of the board.

Padnos was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2007. She currently serves on the board’s Finance and Audit Committee. She is the executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Louis Padnos Iron and Metal Company.
