Photos: Work continues on stadium improvements

Work is still being done on the north end of Grand Valley's Allendale Campus as efforts to complete a major renovation of Lubbers Stadium continue.

The project will change some of the main components of the stadium, including removing all of the natural grass on the field and replacing it with artificial turf.

The entire field surface is also being lowered so construction crews can add another two rows of seating around the field, giving it a 'horseshoe' effect that will increase the stadium's seating capacity to about 10,700.
