Political communication is the topic at the next SoC HOPP event,
with guest speaker John Truscott, president and principal of Truscott
Rossman PR Firm and former spokesperson for Gov. Engler. His lecture
will be Thursday, March 1, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Grand Valley State
University’s Cook-DeVos Health Center for Health Sciences, room 119,
Hagar Hall.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is
available in the GVSU lot on Lafayette, between Michigan and Crescent.
The SOC HOPP (School of Communications, Hear Other Professors and
Professionals) series of events provide opportunities for interaction
among students, faculty and the community on common communication subjects.
