Rivalry with Ferris moves to Facebook

The basketball rivalry between Grand Valley and Ferris State moves beyond the court this year into cyberspace.

Both universities will compete on their respective athletic department Facebook sites for bragging rights. The university that receives the most “likes” between January 28-February 25 will win the right to display the Bragging Rights trophy on its athletic department Facebook fan site.

Grand Valley’s men’s and women’s basketball teams travel to Big Rapids Saturday, January 28, to play Ferris State. The Bulldogs will play the Lakers at the Fieldhouse on the Allendale Campus on February 25.
