Stories, directors sought for campus production

The Women’s Center is accepting director applications and seeking story submissions for the second annual production of “That Takes Ovaries! Bold Women, Brazen Acts.”

Students, faculty, staff members and community members can submit their stories by sending an email to [email protected] with “play submission” in the subject line. Submissions can be anonymous and should be no longer than 750 words; the deadline is November 8.

Those interested in becoming a director can submit an application by November 8. The application can be found on the Women’s Center website at www.gvsu.edu/women_cen.

“That Takes Ovaries!” tells real-life stories of women and girls who have performed courageous actions.

Auditions for the production will be held January 25 and 27. Performances of “That Takes Ovaries!” will take place March 22-23, 2013.
