Voter registration unit to visit Allendale Campus

The Secretary of State’s Mobile Office Unit will visit Grand Valley on Tuesday, September 18, to provide an opportunity for students, faculty, staff members and community members to register for the upcoming presidential election.

The voter registration unit will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. near the Transformational Link on the Allendale Campus. The last day to register to vote for the November 6 election is October 9.

Other services that will be available at the unit include license, tabs and registration renewals and organ donor registry. The visit is part of the Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s 2012 “ExpressSOS” Voter Registration Drive, which includes visits to more than 20 universities, colleges and community centers to raise awareness and educate voters about what to expect on Election Day.
