Grand Valley President Thomas J. Haas and Student Senate President
Natalie Cleary are hosting the 26th annual Presidents’ Ball on Friday,
February 17. The theme is “Wandering in Wonderland” and the night will
be full of visual references of the classic children’s story, “Alice
in Wonderland.”
The top five Laker5
winners will be announced at the event, and the Laker of the Year
award and Student Award for Faculty Excellence recipients will be recognized.
The event will be held at DeVos Place, 303 Monroe Avenue NW, in
downtown Grand Rapids. The cocktail hour will start at 5:30 p.m., the
dinner will start at 6:30 p.m, and the dance will go from 8:30 p.m. to
12:30 a.m. Charter busses will run throughout the night with stops at
Kirkhof Center, Mackinac Hall and DeVos Place.
Limited tickets will be available for pre-sale only at the 20/20
Desk in the Kirkhof Center. The price for the dinner and dance is $30
and the price for the dance is $10. Tickets will not be sold at the
door. Attendees cannot enter the event without tickets and must have a
photo ID.
