Wardrop named assistant vice president for University Development

Jennifer A. Wardrop was recently named assistant vice president for
University Development, replacing Karen Loth, who is now the vice
president for University Development.
Wardrop has served as director of corporate giving for the
department since 2010.
“I’m honored to have been offered this position, and I look
forward to continuing to work with our donors, and with the
exceptional team here at Grand Valley to increase educational
opportunities for our students,” Wardrop said.
Wardrop will be responsible for all aspects of capital and
special project campaigns identified as priorities by the university
president and board of trustees. She will also supervise the
department’s major gift team.
“I am very pleased that Jen accepted the position,” said Loth.
“Her experience working with the West Michigan and Grand Valley
communities, along with her demonstrated leadership, will ensure her success.”
Prior to working at Grand Valley, Wardrop worked with the West
Michigan business community for 19 years, primarily in health care,
including leadership in the campaign for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
