Women's Center hosts its annual Silent Witness Program

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Women’s Center is hosting a proactive event to bring awareness to the issue.

In honor of the Michigan women and their family members who have died as a result of dating and domestic violence, the center will host its ninth annual Silent Witness Program.

The event is set for Tuesday, October 2, in the Kirkhof Center, room 2263, from noon-1 p.m.

The exhibit will feature Silent Witness figures each telling the story of a woman or child who has died in the past year as a result of relationship violence.
