Grand Valley’s Student Food Pantry, located in the Women’s Center,
is seeking donations from the campus community.
Faculty and staff members have received a brown paper bag in
their mailbox, to use to fill with pantry donations and drop off at
designated locations on campus by Monday, October 14.
Items in high demand include laundry detergent,
shampoo/conditioner, pasta sauce, pasta, oatmeal, peanut butter,
jelly, canned chicken, cereal, soap, deodorant and toilet paper. Drop
off locations are located on each Grand Valley campus. Click

The Student Food Pantry will celebrate five years in April of
2014. The initiative began in 2009 and there were more than 500 visits
to the pantry during the 2012-2013 academic year.
