Cardboard arcade entertains crowd

Students stopped by the Cook Carillon Tower to play Foosball, Skeeball, and Plinko games — all created from cardboard — for a good cause October 4.

The Cardboard Challenge was created by students from liberal studies classes and an Honors College seminar course. John Kilbourne, professor of movement science, said it was part of a global challenge initiated by the Imagination Foundation to engage 1 million people in creative play.

Money raised from the event will benefit the Imagination Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering and funding creativity and entrepreneurship.

Sponsors for the event were the Frederik Meijer Honors College, Liberal Studies, and the Movement Science House Living & Learning Center.
