Four campus organizations will host the annual Celebrating Women Awards on Tuesday, March 12, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center, Grand River Room.
The Women’s Commission will present three awards: Colette Seguin Beighley, director of the LGBT Resource Center, will receive the Maxine Swanson Award; Mitzi Loving Johnson, from Movement Science, will receive the Women’s Impact Award; and Kate Harmon, associate director of athletic and recreation facilities, will receive the Unsung Hero Award.
Also sponsoring the event are Women and Gender Studies, Women’s Center and Positive Black Women.
