Fall welcome followed by art reception

Grand Valley’s Women’s Commission hosted its annual Fall Welcome September 19 in the Kirkhof Center.

Marlene Kowalski-Braun, assistant vice provost for Student Affairs, was the keynote speaker. She also introduced Jessica Jennrich, the new Women’s Center director.

Following the event, the Women’s Center also hosted its annual Art Reception, where the campus community got a chance to meet Jennrich. The event celebrates and highlights artwork by students, faculty, staff members and community members.

Their artwork will remain on display throughout the year.
