The “I’m on a Boat” recruitment video, produced by News and
Information Services at Grand Valley, won a 2013 Circle of Excellence
Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education
(CASE). The video won a Silver award, for demonstrating superior
accomplishments that have lasting impact, and operating at the highest
levels of professionalism and delivering exceptional results.
The video, which was entirely written, shot and produced by a
group of Grand Valley students and alumni, includes cameos by
well-known Grand Valley graduates and staff members, including
President Thomas J. Haas.
More than 2,900 CASE entries were received in 45 categories of
competition with 300 entries receiving awards.
