Haas to present at Governor's Summit on Veteran Talent

Grand Valley President Thomas J. Haas will be a presenter and guest at the Governor’s Summit on Veteran Talent November 13 in Taylor.

Grand Valley student veteran Julia Treme was selected to attend the event to serve as one of five Veteran Talent presenters and as an example of top-notch veteran talent available in Michigan.

 

The summit will bring together employers from across the state to share best practices for hiring and retaining veteran employees.

On Monday, all Michigan public universities, including Grand Valley, announced that they have all agreed to provide in-state tuition to veterans. Grand Valley also dedicated the new Student Veterans Lounge.
