The Stuff the Bus campaign to help support the Heart of West Michigan United Way’s Schools of Hope program is underway and runs through September 10. 

The program gathers school supplies from several pick-up locations around Grand Valley’s Allendale and Pew Grand Rapids campuses, and distributes them to students at Cedar Springs, Godfrey-Lee, Godwin, and Grand Rapids Public Schools. 

Supplies that are needed include lined paper, hand sanitizer, pencils, glue sticks, Elmer’s glue, markers, crayons, 1” three-ring binders, tissues, index cards, two-pocket folders, sanitary wipes for tables, printer paper (in ream packages), colored construction paper and pencil boxes. 

Donations will be accepted at the following locations:

—Pew Campus Operations, 3rd Floor Bicycle Factory

—Steelcase Library

—University Bookstore, Pew Grand Rapids Campus

—Facilities, Allendale Campus

—Mary Idema Pew Library Learning and Information Commons

—Kirkhof Center, 20/20 Desk

—Rec Center

—Engineering Building
